Default Rear brake squeal

I took my girlfriend's 2010 TG in for 5K service & they adjusted the parking brake, which we rarely use. I feel the safe way is to just leave it in gear.
Anyway it now has started to squeal like it did when we took it in for the first 1K service at which time they treated the rear brakes with Wurth SBS brake treatment 11 which for the most part seemed to eliminate the squeal. I suppose I'll have to take it back & ask them to try that again.
I have read some of you have had good results with Lyndall brake pads for replacement when it comes to the squealing issues.
What are most of you getting or expect to get miliage wise out of your rear brake pads? I know a lot determines on driving style & city vs country roads, short stop & go vs interstates cross country etc...

Lyndall is in the process of coming up with a replacement for the rear brake pads which I plan on switching to, my rear breaks squeal also. This past summer I had a guy tell me I should have my breaks serviced because they were bad. I looked at him and said it's a Harley, hogs squeal. I don't know what type of mileage you can expect since I only have 2,800 miles on my 2010 Triglide. Mileage is also subjective because everyone rides different.

Thanks msocko for the reply.
Maybe I should rephrase the question to the forum. How many TG owners are experiencing some degree of rear brake squeal???
Thanks for any imput!

I have intermittent rear brake squeal on my ’09 TG; if blow the wheels & brakes out with an air gun, the squeal goes away for a while.

I have 11,000 miles on my TG and the brakes will squeal on occasion. As soon as Lyndall comes out with the rear brakes I will also replace mine.

3000 miles on my 09 but have not noticed a squeal. I'm also thinking of the Lyndall pads when they need replacing

Default Brake Squeal

Mine did for about 600 or so, usually ride the rear brake a little for a few seconds and it quits! 1800 now and I hardly ever hear them unless it sits for a while!

Won't change until I need to but will go with the with the good shoes when I do! Lyndall
