Trike Engine Modifications

Well I can tell you that a Stage lll 117" build on a stock 114" was noticeable on a CVO SG with a nice gain but in my opinion but way to costly for what you get. The money spent upgrading using any of Harley kits is not money well spent unless your trying to stay within warranty. I am sure a Trike would certainly benefit from a 117", go after market.

Well, I guess I am one of the few. Mines a 14 Rushmore trike so it stated as a 103. Did the 110 drop on barrels and had the heads worked to have about 10:1 cr. Ran se585 cams and an Se58 tb. I think it dyno'd around 112/106. Ran it a couple of years and then went to 117, again had the heads worked this time around 10.5:1. Other components the same. Did not have it dyno'd but I'd guess 120/115 based on previous numbers. No heat or engine issues although I do hate the comp and tranny.

Clint, for the last few years I have been dealing with what I thought was backlash from the comp. I have actually run the SE unit, 2 Baker's since 1 galled and now the Darkhorse. None cured it. This fall the shop got it up on blocks and ran it and felt it's play in the tranny. Will find out this spring as I got a freshly restored DD7 from Baker for a good deal. Everyone says they are smooth as butter.....we will see.
