Couldn't ask for a better trike than my '09. Style and performance have been nothing short of perfection thus far. I really couldn't see what the '10s offer that would make me trade.

Thumbs up

No regrets, we love our '09 TriGlide...

Wish Harley had come out with them sooner...

You bought the good one, I wish I had bought the 09. The 2010 has the catalytic converter, was already a little hot from running lean but then they hung a cat on there to hold the heat in.

I make it a practice not to buy anything the first year of production, to let the manufacturer get the bugs out. This habit cost me this time, I would rather have the 09 Tri. You can do some exhaust mods and such and get the full effect. I can't do anything to mine to cool it down before I get rid of the cat.

We went from a Sportster Trike to the TriGlide because of storage space. No Street Glide Trike for us.

After market already has headpipes with no cat available for 2010's

Some people will not even pull a mattress tag off if you are talking the legal issue. Sure you can but some may be a leary about it and let the heads melt down over time.

I imagine the emergency heat shut off will get you through the warranty period!

Won't see the extended engine life of a pre cat big twin though!

Where do I find the head pipes? I have Screaming Eagle mufflers on order. Is the head pipe all I need for a decent exhaust?

If you find some True-Duals for the TG, please let me know! I sent Vance and Hines an e-mail a couple of weeks ago, asking if and when they plan on producing a True-Dual system for the ’09 TG? I have not received a response from them.

There is a big show in Vegas the second week of October; I think that is when most manufactures release their new product line.
