Has anyone had this problem with your paint??


The paint is flaking off..

 

Sorry I forgot a pic... I was wanting to find out if this is a common problem... Thanks for your input

 

Same color, same model, same issue, same location…..

 

Could be the heaver license plate holder (If it is metal) and vibration on the rear deck lid area causing the fracturing of the paint.

I have had no issue with the paint on my 2019. I only have a license plate and no holder/cover.

 

CoolBreeze3646 This is my 3rd trike 09,,,.12,,, and now 14 and used same plate for all. Never had any prob with the other 2 trikes. that's why I was perplexed !!!

 

Could be just bad paint bonding to the fiberglass/composite in that area.

 

The 14’s had some paint issues on the fenders so it wouldn’t surprise me if it was the same issue

 

The 2019 Triglide I purchased had that problem and the original owner had it re-painted under the warranty..
