It is a bit heavy if you don`t remove the tour pack first.

Do the fenders and trunk come off as one piece? if so, how much does the assembly weigh?

It comes off in one piece, no need to remove fenders.

It is not feather light, but my wife and I can lift it off with no issue (I`m 70 years old).

What happens if I disconnect the hoses from shock and adjuster? is there a fluid in there , what makes the shocks change there stiffness air or oil pressure ? I don't want to make a mess.

There is no need to disconnect the cable from the adjuster to the shock, the service manual says do not disconnect.

My guess is you will not get it back together correctly, so why mess with it?

Just remove the shocks and the adjuster unit and put them in a box, in case you need them later.

Just to make sure: are you saying that after the body has been removed, and the trike is properly supported on jack stands, the entire 2-shocks with adjustor still attached can be removed as-is without any disassembly of it other than removing the 4 bolts that secure the 2 shocks to the trike's chassis?

Yes, once you get the body off you will see that it is pretty easy to get both shocks and the adjuster off, without separating them from each other.

I'm still trying to understand when you adjust the shocks what is actually happening, I don't think there is a cable there ,i looks more like some kind of hydraulic hose .

Just like to know how it works.

Couldn`t tell you, I removed them intact (to reinstall if I sell or trade the trike) and tossed them into a box when I installed aftermarket units.
