Default Recommend a Front Tire for '23 Tri Glide

I need help with recommendations for a long lasting 130/90-16 tire for the front of my trike.
(140/90-16 maybe?)
A motorcycle rear tire is okay by me, but please let me know your experience, and which way you mounted it.
Thanks to all!

Get a rear tire of the same size and mount it backwards. It will last way longer.

Before straying from the OEM HD front (or rear!) tire, see:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/tri-g...del-years.html

There's a LOT more to tire selection than tire size, and the comfort, and safety, of you, your trike, and your passenger, may be notably impacted.

On my 14 I mounted a D402 rear backwards, I did a trip up north for 5 days, on tne way back I rode a whole day in the rain and it handled perfectly. When I traded the bike it had about 10000 miles on it and it still looked great. The dealer I traded it in said they weren’t going to put a new on on it looked so good.

If I can get 10,000miles out of a D402 I'll be Happy, Happy!😁 They aren't even crazy expensive.
Thanks!

Your 2023 Trike needs a new tire already? How many miles are on the front tire?

It has a lousy 6,500.
I won't get more than 1,000 more before I HAVE to trash it.

Isn't that pretty low miles for a trike front tire?

What psi have you been running in it?

Lone rider or plus passenger and plus luggages?

It's very low mileage. I get more than that from my Ultra Limited rear tire.
I mostly ride solo, but maybe 10% of the time have my 135 lb wife on board with light luggage.
36 psi ambient.
I always have my 'roadside bag', but that's only 10 lbs.
I'll probably try the D402 rear on the front next.
I'm hoping it will last about twice as long.
