LOTS of pretty important info in this video on TPMS
This online video by "Doc Harley" has LOTS of pretty important things to know about your Harley's TPMS system, including things NOT to do with your valve stems, wheel sizes, and tire balancers!
One basic thing it points out is that your low tire psi warning can come on "very late" comapred to when a leak actually started, due to the battery life conservation features HD implemented.
And, it takes a 3 psi drop in tire pressure to activate any pressure alert. One important nugget of useful info just from this: If you think the HD recommendation for rear trike tire psi of 26 psi is too high, but you don't want to lose the TPMS warning by somehow disabling TPMS, you can likely safely go to 26 minus 2.5 (anything less than 3 psi) and still have your warning light function when you do get a leak.
The video is fast paced and so a bit diifuclt to keep up with at times, but there is no "fluff" or wasted time in it, so bear with it.
