I would like TPM, because I am not the perfect person some people are, who check their tires every day. Plus you can pick up a nail. That said I have not installed one yet.

 

Ok, I made a ride today under VERY windy conditions (gusts up to 52 kph = 32 mph, so the chariot had to work harder to pish itself through the headwinds and crosswind encoutnered on a full circle 77 km ride at mostly 100 kph = 62 mph.

Here are the cold and then maximum steady state tire pressures that the dash was displaying (all in Kpa, since I am in metric Canada):
Actual cold = F 244, RR 184, LR 180
Actual hot = F 264 RR 194 LR 190
% increase = F 8.2% RR 5.4% LR 5.5%

Note that although these hot pressures did not hit the apparently ideal psi increase of 10%, they cam a LOT closer than my rdie yeaterday under more favorable wind conditions.

So, HD maybbe off the ideal target psi for a lone rider without passenger or baggage, but if we add a passenger and baggage, I could see the 10% increase in psi being hit.

And, as before, I found the rear suspension overall (shock absorbers and tire pressure) just fine for steady state riding, but admittedly unimpressive for hard bumps.
