I too avoided gravel on 2 wheels but now search it out to see new things. No problem on a Trike.

My temporary fix to the Triglide seal with rubber foam weather stripping.

Inexpensive and smart temporary solution! Especially practical if leakage starts during a long trip far from home. There's a Home Depot reasonably close to almost everywhere.

ABS and Traction Control work well on wet asphalt & pavement. Also have had them both work well on gravel, dirt, sand and grass.

I prefer not to ride on gravel, only to reduce the change of kicking up a stone into my belt. That said, my driveway is gravel and I ride on it pretty much everyday and have not had a problem.

Definitely safer than on two wheels, not going to slide or slip and fall over.

No problem with water in the trunk of my wife's 2017 Freewheeler in torrential rain or when getting washed.

2020 TGU. Been in torrential rains. Trunk and top case bone dry. I do always lock the trunk.
