Cool

If you already like your handlebars, I agree with the poster on better risers. Also, I would recommend softer bushings. Do away with the harder rubber ones made out of Nylon, or PVC. Go back to OEM if possible...

I agree that risers would work on many other bikes but the trim on my Freewheeler (or RG3 or Tri) doesn't allow for risers. This is unless I'm missing something.....

Helibars are expensive, but hugely adjustable. So they are kinda like getting 1001 handlebars, all in one.

Go out riding, armed with allen wrenches, so you can adjust and adjust and adjust these bars. You will eventually find some positions that are, if not downright comfortable, are far less uncomfortable.

I've got Helibars on my bike right now. It took me a while, and I ended up in an adjustment range I did not expect to be in.

Don't ignore the seats impact on your shoulders btw.

How you sit in the saddle is super important, it’s bad to be hanging on the bars even slightly to support your weight. Splitting some 5/8” heater hose and putting a layer or two on the frame where the seat rests on it at the rear can make a huge difference. As far as the bar angles, you want the grips to contact the palm of your hand evenly. Not more pressure on the inner web or the outer heel of the palm. Very small adjustment can make huge differences once you figure out what’s what.

Have the wide 2+2's on my 15 TG and I am well satisfied with them.

When I had about 2000 km on my new trike back in 2018 I found the bars uncomfortable.

I purchased Helibars! Fully adjustable bars. As the years and shoulder conditions have changed I have been able to make some adjustments to the positioning. This has helped. Check them out.

Good luck with your shoulders.s

I had Heli bars on a MotoGuzzi years ago. I was pleased they now make them for Harley. I'd like to go with the Heli ES version on my 2019 FLHTP but the $850 for the chrome bars is holding me back. And now the chrome is not currently available.

The quality of these bars is very good.

Can you post a photo of the bars on your bike? Did you go with the ES or the ESX model?

Went with the Khrome Werks 2+2 wide, 300517A. It is 2 5/8" wider than the narrow but I like the flatter angle for the grips. Better angle for my hands.
