Congrats! X2 what TriGeezer said. We rode our 2023 Anniv Tri bone stock the 1st 1000 miles, except for a few non performance enhancing accessories that went on before delivery. We applied our first list of changes / upgrades at that 1000 mile service.

Thanks all for the nice comments.
I have some ideas of the things I might want to change as I move forward. Nothing until I get some miles on her. Boy, do I have a list ideas Already did some minor things. Better looking hardware for the license plate, nice valve stem covers and get the items I want to carry with me organized in the trunk.

Exactly what I did initially. Added a small flashlight for the trunk…it’s dark in there!

Nice trike! You like it now and it only gets better! I like the street in the background of your first post.

Congratulations! The more you ride the RG3 the more you are going to like it! I picked up mine several months ago, already have 5500 miles on it and like it more each day. It's a great ride!!

Congrats!
One of my best riding buds is picking one up, that exact color.

He is super nervous. A recent medical issue just ruined his long 2 wheel history, he sold the CVO RG, and he has been devastated. I am hoping he loves the RG3 as much as everybody here does. It will be great to get back on the road with him

Your friend will find all sorts of reasons for missing his two wheelers and he's probably going to be disappointed initially in the ride offered by his new and expensive trike. He may even feel a little "less than" graduating to a three-wheeler. This is fine but he is actually luckier than many as he has the option to keep riding. We all know that there are others who have it worse than us and it is ok to feel sorry for ourselves for a moment. Then, we need to focus on what we have and can do! Your friend will receive kudos and support from friends and strangers when they see him safely seated on three wheels.. Over the first couple of thousand miles he will see his complaints about the ride and maneuverability of his trike all disappear.. He is buying a beautiful machine and it doesn't need any modifications except for a cup holder! I am guessing I have related circumstances to your friend but I'm three years ahead. The health stuff is ongoing but the joy of Harley ownership for me is back to110%! Feel free to have your friend pm if he wants. I too was super nervous.

Heck, I just talked to guy Friday admiring my ST. Rode his whole life. 100s of thousands of miles. Stroke took the left side of his body. He looked at swapping gears to other side of a trike, but he can't steer. He can't ride, anything. Grateful for what I can do, and do have today.
