The Harley Freewheeler is sleek and clean just as it comes from the factory.

Agapsdiver,

Really like what you did with your RG3.

I have, off and on, toyed with the idea of putting a Sharknose on a Tri-Glide.

I think I like what you did better, keeping the different rear fenders.

Nice work!

Thanks.. Main reason i got the RG3 was the Sharknose and the blackout look. Had to have both
if I was going to spend that type of money....

We all have different wants and needs. OP had the skill and resources to create a trike that more closely suited his wishes. He did a beautiful job! My preferred Harley look is a Road King. The Freewheeler has a similar "vibe" and some front and rear fender modifications would make it a FreeKing nice trike, imo!

Very nice job with this conversion. I do have a question though; why did you not fill the two holes at the bottom of the body before painting? The one where the original wiring comes through and the extra fender mounting hole.

Could have, but didn't know when I had it painted whether I was going with the RG3 fender or Triglide fender.
The fender mounting hole not used is filled with a small plug painted body color.
Retainer Blk Nylon 1/4In 13/16In L PK100 - SPS Industrial Inc.
The larger wiring hole is at the bottom of the trunk, not really noticeable unless looking for it.. I can live with it.

Robert, yes, here's a pic of rear lit up.
The 2 Whelen TIR3 lightheads below the tourpak are controlled by DPDT switch
that can be set to off, continuous on, and only when brake is engaged.

Awesome job and look! Congratulations!!

Question: Have you done anything to protect the exterior of the trunk from debris kicked up from the rear tires?
