Trying to polish my wheels and not having very much success . Are these wheels clear coated ? What are you guys using for polishing ? What about all the grooves ?? Help please ..

 

Mine were irreversibly pitted. So, I used the exchange program with “***** Shiney”, and swapped them out for chromed ones. One of the best appearance upgrades on my TriGlide.

 

I want to keep the contrast between the black and the polished wheel .

 

Have a custom powdercoater coat your wheel centers Black, polish your outer hoops, then clear powdercoat the entire wheel,,great looks and easy cleaning.

 

I have the chrome enforcer wheels on my trike. I just removed them & took them to a powder coater to tape off & powder coat.
Someone on one of these harley forums i'm on posted a pic of his on his freewheeler, they looked really nice. I hope mine turns out as good

 

Arnie54, the tires must be removed first before powder coating, corrrect?

 

yes tires, stems & any weights if you have them, plus the bearings on the front wheel.
