The Kendon would be my choice. Storage and weight.

If you're even close to the limit, definitely check out electric or at least impulse brakes on the trailer, no matter how small. Don't die from something stupid.
been there done that. Not much fun.

Well I dood it! I ordered a Kendon Trike trailer. My HD dealer sells them. Might take a couple months but they will deliver the trailer to the dealer and they will set it up for me. Charging me about $300 less than full retail. Hard to pass that up.

Does Kendon offer any front rock guard? I’m looking into one as well. 2 month lead time is good to know. I’ll need one by April.

The only negative thing I’ve read so far was the lack of protection for rock chips. I guess if they don’t. A rock guard for truck might work just as good.

Sorry, can't answer that. I don't see one listed as an accessory.

You can get some huge mudflaps that mount on the hitch so you don't need to leave them on, good idea even if you find something for the trailer.

Even with big mud flaps on the tow vehicle , if you are on any nasty roads there is going to be a bunch of crap in the air that will envelop the trike on an open trailer without some type of cover or block. Things thrown from oncoming or passing traffic.
You can have a wall made to fit the trailer out of aluminum that would block most of it.
I would also have a bit of the aluminum come back a bit to help cover at least the front of the trike.

That's why I bought an enclosed trailer, 6x12 which is smaller than what some on here recommend but pulling with a medium size suv that's what works best.
