Beautiful color!! So, can someone explain why the color green is considered bad luck and is the least popular color for motorcycles?

 

It is a very sharp looking Trike .
Maybe when you get it home , you can get a few more pics to show off the color .

the Legend goes back to auto racing and supposedly in the 1930s or 40s a race car crashed and got up into the grandstands and killed some spectators along with the driver and the car was Green. Nowadays it's been pretty much disregarded and there are green cars usually dictated by the request of the sponsors and the colors of their products that they want representative on the cars now. That crash was supposedly caused buy a mechanic eating peanuts while adjusting the throttle linkage and peanut shells got caught in it and cause the throttle to stick wide open. Therefore for many years peanuts we're also taboo in the pits

 

When we did the HD factory tour in York, PA., the tour guide told us that green was the least popular color because that was the color of military issue bikes of which most riders got shot at. When returning soldiers came home and bought a bike after the war, green was not their color of choice.

It’s a paint you need to see in person only I like the Deadwood green also

 

My local dealer has several bikes on the floor in the Snake Venom. I think it’s cool. I’m not sure I’d get a bike in that color...but I like it. Even though I said I’m not buying, the sales guy offered to take one out into the sun. I should have taken him up on the offer. But, then maybe I’d have ended up with a new Ultra Limited in that color.
