Default Trike Mid Step

Got the mid step installed yesterday. The only issue is they shorted me 1 U-bolt but I'll pick one up local so no problem there.
Easy install. Took me maybe a hour including beer breaks and a knee I can't kneel on so I pretty much looked like a beer drinking whale flopping around on the shop floor.
Pricey but in my case they work better than crawling on the trike.

I put the shocks back on. I took them off thinking I'd have the lift kit and 14" PA but apparently they are back ordered. Wish I'd have known.
They did charge my CC first thing though.

Do you know if you can get matching covers for those?

I do not but I'm thinking you can use a HD board although I maybe wrong. The boards attach with a rod that goes through them with cotter pins on the ends.

Been thinking about these, just seems like a lot of money for the parts you get. I would not need the floorboard or the p-brake extension if the main bar extended out another inch past the folded up floorboard, kinda like a solid peg to set up on. Just thinking out loud here, still undecided.

I made the mount myself order the floor boards from JP cycles. I have around 60 dollars in all of it. Mine is a 2011 so no problem with parking break in the way. They make getting on and off a lot easier.

That’s pretty good idea. I lost count of how many times I started mine in neutral, then when using the floor board to step up and over, accidentally stepped on one of the shifters. Since I had the rear brake in, it would just lurch and stall. But, was quite scary and embarrassing.

One would think after about the second time I did that I would have learned to wait until I was mounted before I started the engine. LOL !! That is as long as it isn't kick start.......

Sorry, but I had to !!!

Buddy of mine that is a welder made the midstep for me and I start my bike before I get on but I get on from the other side or I know I would do that and the bad thing is Mama gets on first so I am sure she would pound the crap out of me if that bike jumped.
