A New Passionate Rider

A New Passionate Rider
My 10 yr old granddaughter has ridden on the back of the bikes a couple of times, but was scared and always refused more rides.
My son-in-law pointed out a trike and she said that she would try it - so to make a really long story short, I found a 2017 Tri-Glide Ultra with low miles. When we convinced her to go for a test ride, she was scared, but tried it. She started out with a death grip on her dad; however, within the distance of 2 houses she was sitting up and by the time they got back, she was grinning from ear to ear and saying how much she loved it!!! She rode home on it - for 200+ miles!!!! We didn't get home until 8:30, so it was dark for the last hour. She is over the moon.
My daughter and granddaughter on the trike and my grandson standing. My daughter/granddaughter will be the primary riders for the trike.
This is just outside of Johnson City, TX - in the Texas Hill Country. You can see that Brooke is really enjoying her ride.
Brooke gives a thumbs-up ...
And a wave.
She let her brother ride for about 50 miles before she was back on it for the last leg of the ride.

It's hard to have a good time if you're scared.
Driving or riding in or any vehicle (even a Suburban) has a certain amount of risk involved but two and three wheelers do have less protection and that's why we have to ride as carefully and as defensively as possible.
Y'all enjoy that new toy to the max!
