Hi, anyone had the SE Stage 2 done on their trike? I was told by the HD dealer, they can install a Stage 2 (Torque CAM - low end torque) and not the Power Torque (increasing the HP) because you will lose the warranty. My question I want to keep my warranty on my 2019 TriGlide will I see a big difference on this heavy trike and it is worth it $1K (parts and labor)? Thanks.

whether it’s worth the money is subjective. This is the first Harley I have owned that has stage 1 and stage 2
I am very pleased

My 2019 Triglide has the screaming eagle stage 2 with the torque cam kit. It was tuned with a screaming eagle street tuner. All work done by dealer. It makes a big difference. Much better acceleration

when I bought my bike, it had 57 miles on it. The first owner had the dealership install stage 1 and stage 2 and the street tuner, so I am unable to answer your question.

You will like the results of Stage II Torque Cam. I did the Stage II and later the Stage III. The improved power and performance with Stage II, in my opinion, is well worth the investment. We travel two up and loaded down mostly and the Stage II and then III really keeps things moving nicely. Plenty of acceleration and power for the hilly country here in Idaho.

I have an '18 Tri-Glide and I have added the Stage I with V&H Twin Slash slip-on's.
I ride all of my bikes easy and I rarely exceed 4,000 RPM's or even do a "full throttle: acceleration.
I doubt that a Stage II would really benefit me due to the way I ride but more torque would be nice especially in mountainous areas.
My question for those who have had the torque cam installed is how did it effect your MPG's?
My mileage, with the Stage I upgrade has ranged between a low of about 25 MPG's (on an inclined freeway run, on a windy day, fully loaded at 75 MPH) up to 36 MPG's (on a level combination of freeway/two lane road, fully loaded at 55/70 MPH).
If possible. I'd like to keep my fuel tank range at 200 miles (which would be about 33 MPGs and I have found that it helps greatly if I "burp" the tank when fueling.
Last season I had two "close calls" of running out of fuel and I'm too old the even think about pushing a 1200# machine!

If I were you I would quit trying to push the limit on that gas tank. Stop at around 150 miles, stretch, drink some water and fill up. You're not in a marathon !
With a cam change you likely will loose some MPG, but do you want the extra power, or MPG ? In a few cases they have gained MPG because they no longer have to shift down as much. But you have to ease off a bit on the throttle. And with more power,,,, sometimes that is a hard thing to do !
