Default HD Oasis Day Cover

I am thinking about buying a HD Oasis Day Cover PN 93100028, but I have a question I need to have answered before I purchase it. I installed the DK Tour Pak relocator kit about 2 1/2 years ago. Have any of you in this forum installed this cover with the tour pak moved back? I installed mine with just a 2 inch set back, not 3 inches. Just want to make sure it will still work without stretching the cover too much. I do have the Airwing rack and light installed on the tour pak. Thanks for any help.

****Well not long after posting this I found this info from Sloufoot from a post back in April of 2016.****

Quote: "One thing to be aware of is if you have moved your tour pac back a couple inches the Oasis cover has a real problem stretching over everything.
Because the Oasis cover gets stretched to the limit just to fit right."

So, anybody in here have any recent experience with this? Sounds like with the 2 inch setback and the Airwing rack, I might be out of luck?

I have a Kuryakyn tour-pak relocator on my 2018 TG and it is all the way back. Not sure if that is 2" or 3" but I think it is 3". With that said the H-D Oasis cover fits fine. No problem at all.

Thanks for the reply. I have the big indoor Tri Glide cover, but wanted to get the "smaller to stow" day cover for keeping in the trunk all the time. I think I will go ahead and give it a try. It will keep the rain off the important stuff etc.

BTW, do you have a rack on your tour pak?

Check out the Ultragard trike cover. It's a complete cover lightweight and covers the whole tri very nicely and a lot cheaper.Fits in it's own bag and in the Trunk.

While I have not relocated my tour pak on my '18 TG, I have the H-D Oasis day cover, and it would appear there is plenty of room to stretch it another 2" or so. I do have the rack on the tour pak.

Dawco makes a half cover that’s slightly bigger that HD one...still compact and easy to take along...I have both...

Default Thanks to all.

Thanks for the replies. It appears there are several good options. I think I will try to test fit the HD day cover via a local guy that has one and go from there.

Got a Covermax for when I travel. I have had people accuse me of carrying a tent. Lots of room.
