Clutch adjustment if it’s not a hydraulic.
Dont overfill the primary. Fluid just to touch bottom of clutch basket.

As already said, use the heel shifter, much easier. Having said that, I always have trouble finding neutral if the engine is hot.

Default Neutral

I have 23000+ on my 15 fw and about 500 miles ago i changed the transmission fluid to
Redline 58204 heavy-duty shock proof (pink bottle). I "seem" to be able to find neutral a lot more easily, plus i don't have the annoying harley clunk as much. "I" think the harley transmission fluid is too light duty. Plus i took off my heel shifter, never could get used to it on any bike.

I found it takes a "lighter" touch on the rear shifter to find neutral. Not hard enough to shift to a higher gear, more like a soft tap. Just remember to look at the neutral indicator light before letting out the clutch lever. Redline tranny fluid in mine.

This. I used to drive myself crazy trying to find Neutral with the toe shifter. Someone suggested using the heel shifter, and I almost never have an issue anymore.

Also get in the habit of finding neutral while you are still rolling slowly to the stop. It gets easier with a bit of practice.
