Default Making a reduced throw lever (What do you think)

Has anyone ever applied heat - to bend a Harley clutch lever - thus bringking the lever angle closer tho the handel bar ? (reduced throw)
I know there are products out there, but this processs seems so simple, and I only want a one inch change.
You tube demonstrates, Easly bending Aluminum. What do you think ?

Before you make that much of a change in the travel of the clutch lever take something 1" thick and place it between the clutch lever and the grips and see if it will still let you work the clutch correctly.

If you do this please let us know how it works out I have short fingers so I am interested to see if this is doable.

I dont think you would have enough lever travel to adjust the clutch properly

There is a reduced throw clutch lever by SoftBrake that does exactly what you describe by reducing the distance between the handlebar and the lever by 1 inch. If it works for that, I don't see why yours wouldn't work.

Made the mistake, called and talked to the owner of SoftBrake... I have been wrong for all this time... when asked, I always say the first things that need to be done are bumper, lift, and LED's...nope, these are now top of the list.. WHAT A DIFFERENCE !! my fingers and wrists say "Thanks !"
