Has anyone put chrom valvue stemms and chrome vaulve nuts on there trike. I’m having my wheels chromed and thought it would be good to change them to chrome as well
I have chrome covers and lug nut covers on my Tri-Glide...got them free from Les Schwab tire center in Idaho. (May not be real chrome, but looks better than black).

When I had my rims chromed by Sport Chrome I knew I was going to install my FOBO TPMS sensors on the rims. I definitely wanted a metal valve stem and I wanted chrome. I never thought it was going to be such a PITA too find exactly what I needed. I had to have a 45 degree stem in order to keep the front calipers from hitting the FOBO sensor. I ended up with a Xtra Seal brand number 17-561 45 degree 1 inch long chrome valve stem. They also have a number 17-560 that is a straight 3/4 inch chrome stem. I ended up getting O'reilly Auto parts to order them for me. I used the 45 degree 17-561 on all 3 rims with the stem turned "in" toward the inside of the rim. I can still get an air chuck on them, just have to be careful. The only pics I have right now are below. BTW, these are the "bolt in" type and are very sturdy when installed correctly.
looks good why did u go with sensors type what does that tell u. Also are u happy with sports chrome job sent mine out yesterday how long it take
thanks
The FOBO sensors are for monitoring tire pressure. It uses an app on your smart phone and will alert you when low or high pressure is observed. Mine seems to be pretty accurate and I like it because I can check my pressure before a ride and not have to get down on the floor and check with my gauge. I have been pleased with them and they seem to be very accurate when compared to my "high quality" regular gauge.
Yes, I am happy with my Sport Chrome wheels, and I caught them at a time they had great price on them. However it took about 7 weeks "AFTER" they received my rims to ship them to me. They were very busy at the time.
Does the TriGlide have closer tolerance between the calipers andcrim? ‘cause I’ve not heard of others that need to go with a 45 degree valve stem. In fact, many go with the T stem...

im confused?
I had to use a 45 turned into the center of the front rim to clear the TPMS FOBO sensor I installed. Otherwise it would have hit the caliper and broke the FOBO and stem. You don't need 45's on any of the tri glide rims (AS FAR AS I KNOW, but I could be wrong). Yes, some people use the straight t stems.

Thanks, but I’m dense. Does that mean you are not running TriGlide rims and your’s put the stem out Further?
