Push down on parking brake lever but it won't stay down and catch

 

Push the pedal all the way down and let your foot slip off the pedal and let the pedal slam up. I had the same issue and this is how I fixed the issue. Hope it works. Jim

 

Had a little trouble with the parking brake on my 15 TG. Used a little WD-40 and worked it briskly several times. Haven't had a problem since and I use it all the time. Make sure you lube the ratchet on the brake.

 

On my 17 I had the small spring pop off the parking brake and it would latch, found the spring and re installed it, works fine now
