Got about 11,000 on the stock Dunlop on my 2016 and it needs to be replaced; surprised because I got almost 18000 on both my 2011 and 2013. I will replace it with the Avon Trike specific front tire, I had good success with that tire on my 2013.

Completely depends on how fast you go thru the curves and conditions of the road surface.

When going fast thru the curves the front tire is constantly "skipping" across the road, shaving rubber off.

I get anywhere between 8k to 14k out of a front tire...just depends.

I'm currently running a rear reversed and at 25k+ I still have plenty of tread.

My experience was first two were Dunlop OEM, 17K, then went to Michelin Commander II and currently at about 25 and still lots of life on this one. As others have stated really depend on your riding style, lots of twisty's wears them down a lot faster. We ride primarily twisty curvy roads.

19,500, still some room left on the wear indicators, no hydroplaning during a deluge on a recent road trip. I could probably go another couple of thousand, but I think I'm going to go with one of the Avons soon, at least in the spring.

your 14 had linked brakes. On my 14 I changed it at 13000 still had about 1000 left on it.

Individual tire mileage depends on a lot of rider factors as well as what specific tire you put on the rim. Try the Avon trike tire if you are using a MT90B16 on it. It has more tread and is made for a trike and has a 15K mile warranty. If you go that route, make sure you get the Cobra trike tire and not the regular Cobra that's for 2 wheels. They only make the trike tire in 2 sizes. One to fit Harley and one for Goldwings.

26k when I changed my front tire n my '14.
Just went over 40k and still have the original rear tires on.
I ride superslabs and back roads and not shy with the throttle.

Just busted 20k miles and I need to replace the front tire. I went to J&P's website and will have a new Avon at my house in 2 days.

Kevin, Do you run a Dunlop rear tire on the front and if so do you install it backwards? Is this common practice? I looked at mine and noticed the yellow dot on the tire was on the opposite side. I will need a new tire before it can be inspected. Thanks for your help.

Got 9k on the original tire on my 2015 tri. Put on the Avon trike tire, have 10k on it and doesn't look like it has worn at all. Same roads better life, all's good.
