Bubba, I see this post is a bit old, but just came across it doing some research. I’m going to look at a 2011 xxx either tomorrow or next weekend. It’s orange, one owner 3,700 miles and asking 17k hoping to pay 16k. Not a typo it’s brand new. Want it for the wife who wants to ride, but can’t do 2 wheels, never learned. Is it worth it?, or should I search for a used tri-glide? Although I like the look of the street glide trike better. Curious about the tour pak, if the trike has the luggage rack on the back, how does the tour pak get installed? Was it permanent or a quick connect type of thing. Might look at that option in the future, she tends to shop a lot. Might need the extra storage. Thanks for your time

If she like you say, Shops a lot,..A Tri-Glide would be a better bet...But they aren't in the 16 k range...My dealer gave me 19.5 k for my 11 Tri-Glide which was well ridden and 45k on the odometer in trade for a new 17 Tri-Glide.....

Rhino, thanks! But that’s too rich for my blood, they gave you almost 20k for it well ridden, that must be in the floor for 24 or 25 I’m guessing. This is an experiment for her, hell she might not even like it,she likes being on the back of my bike but she’s gotta learn everything from jump, totally green. But I created a monster, and she doesn’t really want a metric one, I’ve showed her a few cheaper but meh, she has her heart set on a Harley.

Default My 2010 XXX

I know this is an older post, so here we go. In 2016 because of a bad knee I failed my 2 wheel course. I ended up at a local harley dealer and found my boy Captain Crunch. A 2010 XXX for 20,000 with 4000 miles on it. I did a comparison between him and a new freewheeler for 26,000. So after putting on a faring, windshield, and raido set up and labor I was looking at about 31,000. I love my XXX it dosen't look like a stripped down model or a chunky tri glide old man's bike. ( sorry tri-glide owners) he now has over 60,000 miles on him and still going strong. Now days if I want to replace him people are still asing about 16,000 for them.
