Fender Bra with Velcro

Fender Bra with Velcro
Instead of using the other thread I decided to start a new one with pictures of the entire process I used. I personally like the bra due to having just traded a 2014 trike (black) the fenders were all marked up from riding (rocks, etc)....So to me the fender bra makes sense but I also wanted an easy way to take it off and clean not only the bike but the bra.
These are the items I purchased...Velcro from Walmart and the paper from Michaels crafts.
The pieces I made out of the sheets I doubled up to make sure it was strong enough to not tear. Possibly did not have to do that but better safe than sorry.
On the bra itself instead of cutting the flap off that normally attaches under the light I folded it and put a couple stitches in it. (need to get a heavy duty needle if doing by hand, they will break)
Then you want to put your velcro on both pieces
Now when you go to put them on under the rear light you will need to make a hole for the screw to go.
Once you have the light on you can then put the fender bra in place and attach the one end to the velcro.
Hopefully anyone interested in doing this can understand what it takes...Of course any questions just ask....

I have an 18 Tri-Glide and with less than 10,000 miles the front sides of the rear fenders looks horrible.
I applied the "static" invisible bra material but even that stuff looks horrible with stone and bug markings.
I also have the OEM leather fender bras but I'm not sure about mounting those (as recommended with their instructions) so I'm considering an alternative method such as the one suggested here.
FWIW, I remember seeing some aftermarket, snap-on leather covers but that course requires that holes be drilled in the fender in order to accommodate the metal snaps but at least there are options.
