Exhaust choice

Be careful about the baffle size. If you go over about 1.75 inch inside dia. the bottom end torque will start to go away. You need a bit of restriction to stay away from exhaust reversion.
The Monster rounds have a 2.25" baffle. Or at least mine did. I took the baffle out & used the "torque inserts" (lollypops) just inside the end extension. They are louder than the baffles, but gave me back my bottom end torque. And improved my millage about 2mpg from the baffles.
I also have S&S "Power Tune duels" . They look like true duels, but have a crossover hidden.
They aren't too loud with normal use, but talk to ya at wot.

What are you guys running on these trikes? Looking @ V&H Monster rounds or Scremin Eagle slip on's. I still want to be heard and if I can get a little more power that would be a plus. Any recommendations. Just bought the bike . A 2012 Tri glide. It has stock pipes with a stage one set up.

Nice deep sounds, and some good extra power. Running TTI's in them also.
Here's a vid we made when first testing them out...that was about 20K miles ago.
