Default 28* on the way in this morning...

It was 28* this morning on the way to the shop.

A heated jacket liner kept me from freezing.

It's 36* now, and supposed to be 38* when I ride home this evening.

5 days ago it was 77* during the day, and in another 5 days it will be back in the 70's again.

That's why I leave the FLRT in the garage. When the temps make it into the 50's, I'll think about riding again.
I rode on a funeral mission when the temps were in the 20's. I had so many layers of clothes that I felt like the Michelin man.

I left Clearwater Florida at 3 am today and the temp was 58 and dropping just got home here in Tennessee 730 miles right at 11 hours . I had on thermal long johns a heated jacket and gloves,Rainsuit over all of that . I still feel like a popsicle .. I saw maybe a total of 30 bikes headed South mostly in Georgia, but I was a loner headed North .. Be safe out there ..

A few degrees warmer here in northeast Texas this morning. First time that cold with all my deflectors on the bike - what a difference! My thighs were cold and that was it.

I don't know what I would do if I lived in the North again. I never had a motorcycle when I lived in Ohio, so I don't know the struggle, but I can tell you, if I ever move out of Texas, I will be sure to consider weather so I could ride my bike at least 10 months out of the year. I hate letting the bike sit.
