Monday I did a Patriot Guard mission in Riverside. Was 45 degrees when i left my house. By 1:00 at Riverside National Cemetery it was 95 degrees. Too dang hot, when you're not used to it.
Y'all wearing anything special for the cold days? If it's 40°F or less, my legs can't stand it. I got a layered Tourmaster jacket that does fine for my torso, but my legs need thicker pants. I won't wear chaps lol

I found some fleece and flannel lines jeans from Sportsman Guide. Work pretty good and can wear them all day without getting to hot. Of course you can't beat Gerbings heated gear for real comfort on cold days....

Once I started using a heated jacket liner, the most I use under my jeans is some long johns.
Before using the heated jacket liner, I could keep my core from being cold (that's different from being toasty warm), but my legs, feet and hands would get cold.
By keeping my core heated, toasty warm, the rest of me stays warm.
I do think that since all my jeans are kevlar lined, that probably helps too.
