Ask the dealer today about ordering some paint to have my Bushtec trailer painted, said only available in touch up...that stinks!
Bonnieville Blue and Fathom Blue....don't know about paint shops matching the new flake color...suggestions?
If you can find a paint shop that has one of those special cameras used to take a close picture, then use a program to match it, it could work. I had a place match the placer gold for my car and it came out perfect. I used the inside of the truck lid.
I know the dealers can order larger containers. A few years back they had to get the anniversary (2013) for my trike and send to the body shop. Long story, but they had damaged the trunk when it was in for service, the entire tub and fenders had to be repainted.
Go to colorriet.com and they have the paint codes for HD and you can get any size you want I have used their products. I am going to trade (today I think) my 14 Limited and get a tri that a custom blue (from HD) so I think I will get some paint to match the new tri and paint it to match.

That's my color, Bonnieville Blue and Fathom Blue....

Yep, usually no problems getting paint, order a at of big blue pearl without issues....
Had the same problem in 14 getting paint for trailer. Painter had to buy a kit from PPG that consisted of the primer and paint. He had to buy the kit which was a quart of each not cheap. He charged me for what he used. Trailer matches perfect.
Others may have other ways to get the paint but this is what I had to do in order to match the trailer to the trike.
