2017 mpg
Don't recall seeing any post on this. My buddy has a 2017 TG. His gauge and lie-0-meter was messed up because when it said he had very few miles until empty he could only get around 3.5 or 4 gallons in it. Dealer replaced some sensor or computer thing and it works accurately now.
Problem is now that when he figures his MPG he is only getting around 23 MPG. He recently took a trip down to Miami, riding 2-up mostly interstate running between 75 and 80 and got that 23MPG. I haven't figured my exact MPG on my 2016 but am guessing when riding 2-up it is around 30.

Any additional information will be better than none for him. I talked to him again last night and I was wrong on his numbers. It was 28mpg that he ended up getting. He has a big road trip coming up in a couple of months with numerous other bikes and doesn't want to be the one that has to stop for fuel every 120 miles.

Couple of years ago wife and I did a 3000 mile loop from Southern California up through Yellowstone Ntl. Park. We rode through California, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, then back to Cal. We both rode single, both on Tri-Glides then. We averaged.... Don't really know what MPG we got, we were having so much fun neither of us really cared. We stopped every 100 miles or so just to stand up and admire the scenery and gas up 'just in case' I have no idea at the 'gallons per hour' my Seadoos run, or the boat. All are used for FUN It does stand to reason you will get better mileage at slower speeds as opposed to ramming speed.... but sometimes you just have a need for speed. Enjoy the scoots!

My 14 Freewheeler with a ST120 gets 40 to 42 mpg consistently with summer blend gas and 38 to 40 with winter blend. 20K on the bike with 13K on the 120.
I got 36 to 38 with the 103 HO.
Some will have a fit when I say that most of the mpg is that I tune the bike to use E10 87 gas as part of the mpg potential. Both the engines from day one run on that. One exception. In the mountains it is run on 85 octane.
