Default Slime digital , HD or ? air gauge?

Was reading the tire pressure thread and it was stated that there is a difference between the slime gauge and HD's in terms of consistent readings.

This made me wonder what gauge is used by all of you and how consistent the readings are? I use the HD gauge and until now have felt comfortable with the readings. Now I am thinking maybe I am wrong and need to check the gauge for accuracy.

When checking my tires I use a Craftsman Digital gauge that I have had for about 9 years. I have compared it with the HD tire gauge and they are both the same. The Craftsman is just easier to use.

I do need to compare it with the shock pump to check their accuracy.

Have you ever gone into WalMart to buy one of those big outdoor wall thermometers? Almost every one of them on the shelf shows a little different reading from the one next to it. I try to pick the one that shows the temperature that is closest to the average reading. The same thing applies to pressure gauges. Most of them are only marginally accurate, but usually accurate enough for our needs. As for me, I use the Slime digital gauge because I find it easy to use.
