I would guess they would only decide to put a 110 if they offered CVO trike. They would generally not change for at least 3 years just to break even on tooling. Then another 2 years to make money on that change. So maybe in 2019 right after the anniversary would be my guess for the next major change.

The SE 110 will run rather hot unless you make some changes.
I went to a catless header, K&N filter, the cvo's come with a open ac, wards fans, and a good dyno tune. It was harder to cool because I was not taking off the lower fairings, had speakers I want to continue to use.
If it has the black shield that snaps on the engine guard and the fuel tank bolt take it off, it's worthless and will add some serious heat.
Mine ran as cool as my 07 ultra did.
The 103 engine has very good potential for great power and runs much cooler. Most 103's with a good build (not much is really needed) will walk away form a cvo 110 in most cases.
I built a 113 out of a 88 and it runs very cool. No oil cooler or fans was needed.
