Default Wheel roller

Does anybody have recommendations for a drive on wheel roller .... to use for cleaning the front wheel?

Anybody know what the weight requirement would be for the front end with back wheels on the ground?

Thanks .... I'm looking for a easy drive on/off solution for cleaning the front rim. The rears are easy as is!

Check with Harbor Freight. They have a little two roller setup with a short ramp that you could ride right onto. Under 30 bucks. I've seen them but can usually reach everything when mine is up on the table lift so I have no need to get one. Looks well made though.

I have one of the Harbor Freight rollers, & they work just fine. But you must keep the wheel square with the rollers or it will roll your wheel off the side.
To the OP:
Lifting the front wheel is so much better ! If you are doing your own services or any wrenching on the Trike something to lift the Trike in the air is almost a must anyway.
Take the money for the roller & put it towards a lift or Trike jack. You won't be disappointed.

Trapshooter, we're from the same area. Have a J&S trike jack for sale. Never lifted the bike. PM if interested.

The wheel roller only works well if the bike is sitting vertical. With the bike on the kick stand, when you roll the wheel the bike will 'walk' to the edge of the roller. The rear wheel is much more susceptible than the front wheel, but they both do it. If you have a front wheel chock, then it would work well for the rear wheel.

I had one a couple of years ago and ended up giving it to a buddy, who also gave it away.

Harbor Freight Wheel Roller with 20% off coupon for $19.99 plus tax.

Easy to push wheel on up ... and it works. YES it does take 2 hands and some effort to roll the tire ... but it does work.

I am still thinking of the J&S from another forum Member nearby.

I have a J&S jack and love it. I use it for cleaning the bike so I raise it up all the way and sit on a roller stool and detail the trike with no problem. I also use the jack to store my bike for the winter by lifting up in the air to keep the tires from getting flat spots. If you have it up on the Jack during the winter and your trike is blocking something you need to get to in the garage the jack lets you roll the trike around on the jack with no problems. Buy one and you will not regret it!
