Oil and filter change. Dealer mechanic torqued the drain plug to over 26 ft/lb. The oil filter was past that. Put two sheet metal screws in the filter wrench and filter housing. Started tearing the filter cover before it started loosing. WTF.

Glad you got it taken care of.

Reading comprehension & common sense are practically non-existent in Dealership Service Departments. Gotta find a good mechanic, or do it yourself to make sure things are done right.

U guys are killin' me!!!
Will be at least 6 weeks (mid-April) before the snow and ice is melted off of my road and the temps will be acceptable for riding.

T/G is sittin' in the garage hooked up with battery and one rear flat tire!

BUT, it's bright and sunny here and I think we're "over-the-hump" temperature wise and when the "spirit" hits me I'll take the flat off and take it to the shop to have the leak repaired (new tire, new wheel) so it should be a simple job.

Just finished a couple add-ons. Put on fangs on the fork to cut down the severe upwards air flow trying to rip off my helmet. Put on DKs comfort lift with 14" shocks and tour-pac relocation kit. Can't wait to try it out... IF we ever get warm weather. Right now with the snow melting and recent rain/sleet storm we had, our driveway is ankle deep mud. Come on summer!!

In the event there is a second time drive a screw driver through the filter, Makes a good handle to twist the filter off,

Our weather is fluctuating all over the place. In the last week I've ridden in 78* and down in the mid 40's.

Today the high is 61 and tomorrow it is 80. I'll be enjoying the wind on the TG both days!

Did a "five-by" Custom Dynamics front light upgrade on our 2015 TriGlide today.
- Front wrap-around fender tip light
- Windshield trim with turn signals
- Fairing vent insert with turn signals
- Lower fairing inserts with turn signals
- Engine guard run/turn signals

Man, if folks don't see me coming from the front, they are seriously blind.
