Default Tour Pack detachable on Triglide?

Is the Tour Pack detachable on the Triglide? My wife loves her Freewheeler but misses the wind protection of the fairing and lowers.

Yes, it is a matter of 6 bolts and it is off. You will want to put some plugs or bolts into those 6 holes once the TP is removed, to prevent water from getting into the trunk.

I rode my Tri Glide for a month or so with no Tour Pak. Here are a couple of photos-

Easy to add the engine guard and lowers to a Freewheeler. The soft lowers work well too and are easily installed or removed to match temps.

I was able to buy the passenger backrest and rear luggage rack as parts back in 2011 when HD still sold the FLHXXX model. When I took the tour pac off my TriGlide it fit like a glove. I 1st put this on my 2009 TriGlide. I was very happy to see that it fit my 2015 and 2019 as well!

Thanks,

What backrest are you using? I am looking for a good one now.

Thanks!

I use the "daylights" out of my tour pack (on my trike and my Ultra (and would never think about taking it off) but IF I was to do so I think I'd find some kind of trim piece with chrome nuts and screws to cover the holes.

It would also be advisable to have a friend on hand to help align the bolts with the holes when re-mounting to prevent scratching your paint.
