Hi guys,
I have a 2019 Freewheeler and it had a battery tender lead on it when I bought it used.
I am looking for the fuse location. Is it inline or is it built into the fuse box?
My lead was ripped off somehow and I tested the positive side and it has no power.

2019 have a factory battery tender lead on them, fuse is in the fuse box. Your owners manual will show you where it is. I think it is the 5 amp one like on my tri-glide (#3 fuse). Okay from reading Dan's post it may be the P&A Fuse, easy enough to check them all out.

The battery tender pigtail is hardwired into the P&A circuit, it is not directly connected to the battery.

Check the P&A fuse.

 

Not to hijack the thread but curious how you would disconnect the tender leads if you wanted to install the upgraded one say for jumping or Lithium charging?
Would just tucking the existing one back under the cover and not using it, after installing the new one work?
Am going to buy the Earth X leads.

 

Upgraded, do you mean aftermarket jump starter pigtails?

A jump starter pigtail cannot be connected to the P&A circuit; the P&A circuit is only designed to carry 20 Amps.

A jump starter lead would need to be connected directly to the battery, it could also be connected to the positive lug on the starter solenoid and a good ground.

I installed a jump starter pigtail on my FLHT by connecting the positive lead to the starter solenoid, and the negative battery post.

I thought to install them directly to the battery, I wasn't sure what to do with the existing leads.
