Anyone using a Mustang Day Tripper or Wide Tripper seat. I want to go from my Ultimate seat to something a little less bulky looking. Pictures would be great.

 

Confused, the Ultimate seat for the Freewheeler looks substantially slimmer (from pictures) than the Mustang seats you’ve mentioned. What am I missing?

 

Here is web pictures of the comparison. I think it's the height of the seat that bothers me. Can't believe someone hasn't come up with a filler for the passenger seat so we could run solo seats.

O.K., I see what your saying, the spot between the riders spot and the passenger is much higher, I was thinking “plushness” of the seats.

 

Careful with this. Just because they say it fits. It don't always. The Harley P&A says a few seats will fit the Freewheeler. They do not. And the parts guys will tell you all 14 and up touring seats fit. They do not. The Hammock that fits my 16 and my 19 Roadglides dis not fit the my wife's 15 or her 19 Freewheeler. The smaller seats will also leave gaps between the side covers and the seat exposing the frame and a big void where seat was.

 

Has anyone talked to Mean City Cycles for a seat mod ? Building seats is their specialty>
