The Unconventional HD Penster Prototype

An unconventional and ill-handling three-wheeler.

 

Yet Bombadier made it work with the Spyder. Shame Harley couldn't figure it out.

 

Shame the author can't tell the difference between a sportster motor and a twin cam motor.

 

For Christ's sake, Harley couldn't even make a reverse trike without the stupid forward controls...

 

There are two versions of it . Once in awhile at he HD museum in Milwaukee they put the two of them in the other building for people to see. This is the first one.

 

I actually kinda like that trike. Everything but the exhaust system.

 

We went to the HD Museum last week and did the “behind the scenes “ tour.... both of these were in the warehouse. Cool looking.

 

That look is actually growing, on me. The front suspension components really stand out.

 

Yeah, it does seem like an inherently better setup for a trike — if you can figure out the steering. I recently drove a Slingshot, which was kind of trippy. Can't say I'd ever own one, carving corners in it was pretty fun.
