I purchased these brand new about a year ago. Mileage on the speedo is currently 19,500. I believe the dealer can reset the mileage. I've also heard the ECM will reset it. I can confirm neither. I had the mileage reinstated when purchased new.

Set includes speedo, tach, volts, fuel, oil pressure, and OIL TEMPERATURE. Not the bogus air temp. The harness and oil temp sender unit will also be included.

Reason I'm selling is I upgraded to a set of Dakota Digital gauges. I'm telling you guys the titanium gauges look sweet against the Pewter Pearl or a vivid black inner fairing. I also have some LED's I'll throw in as well. You can replace your bulbs on the gauge plug in with these.

 

Mileage cannot be changed on the speedo. You need to purchase a new speedomoter from HD Parts, they will set whatever mileage you request and it will come directly from HD with that mileage set. Been there, done that.

not true; I just changed my stock black guages for a different style. Bought a used speedo on eBay. Took it to the dealer, they wrote down my VIN and mileage, They then sent my eBay speedo back to the factory to be re-programmed to my bike's (dealer verified) mileage. Took about 3 weeks to get it back. Bottom line; the dealer can't do it locally. but they can get it done for you.

 

No dealer in TX fools with used speedos any longer. Haven't for at least a year or better

IMO they look great against any color. By far the best viewable gauges HD has.
