Default Yaffe 10" Chrome Monkey Bagger Bars

===========SOLD========

These are very sexy bars. I really wanted them to work for me. I'm a short person and they are just too far forward. I put them on the bike last week and rode it for 200 miles. I took them off Sunday and put on different bars I had already purchased. They are in perfect condition.

Part number #PYO:MBB1.25-10CHR

http://www.baggernation.com/tpc.php?cid=6

There is a 4 week waiting period from Yaffe for these bars. They cost me $375 plus shipping.

Make me an offer.

dave

I'm 5'6". You can pull the bars back 6 to 8 inches from the inner fairing but further than that they hit the tank when you turn the bars completely to the left or right.

A lot of people like the apes and that riding position. There are a lot of 5'7" people in the forums that have Yaffe Monkey Bagger Bars and like them. I like to lean back when i ride and thought I could pull the bars back further.

I put the bars on myself in an afternoon. I got a +4 clutch cable but some people have just re-routed it with no issues. There are some threads that give you a lot of feedback on them. I wouldn't count them out just because they didn't work for me.

Do you have a picture of them on the bike? I really was thinking black but if the price is right I'm in. I am looking to keep my hands behind the fairing.
Thanks,
Steven

Here is a thread with some pics https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...gger-bars.html. I liked the height of the bars. It was even with the top of the fairing but out of the wind. You will need mirrors on the bars as the stock mirrors are blocked. I was going to get the yaffe mirrors. They are pricey though.

I'm 5'6" short and I am not surprised they don't work for you. They pullback is only 5". I have 13" cyclesmith apes and absolutely love them but they have 8.5" pullback.

I only had to roll them back an inch from the fairing to get the perfect feel. Sorry they didn't work. What did you go with?
