I need a confirmation that the front fender will bolt into place on my '86 Tour Glide. I have two awful dents in mine and the bump work quite possibly will never look as good as new. I think this may be more cost effective too.
I thought if I could get a replacement fender (especially in white) I could get the matching paint work done and then just swap it out.
The matching custom paint will be painted over the scuffed area, but perhaps the scuff, and my desire to buy it might bring a slight decline in cost, that would be a nice deal. (Just checking to see if that would be a consideration??)
JWK, or anyone ... If we can confirm the fit I will buy the front fender!

It appears that most of the sites that are selling custom (yet bolt on) front fenders for touring bikes list that they fit 86-present which makes me think that this fender will indeed fit your 86.
