I have a set of used Supertrapp 3.5" (128-65115) mufflers off of my 06 Street Glide. They are in great condition other than the right side muffler baffle is loose. I am asking $175 shipped firm.

I also have a set of brand new Fiberglass unpainted 6x9 Saddlebag Speaker Lids. I was going to use them on my bike, but ended up using a different setup. $150 shipped obo.

Sometimes a "loose Baffle' can be the fit between the muffler body and the baffle has become too great and it rattles until warm. If you removed the baffle it is one long piece, if that is intact then look where the baffle friction fits inside the muffler body. Use a rubber mallet to whack the muffler body a little bit on the side that faces the bike, lay muffler body on something soft. Trial fit the baffle and re-wahck if needed. I have been running these type of Supertrapp/SE/Kerkers for years and have had the rattle before. Anyhow good luck with the sale.

Ted, It's appropriate that this thread is about SuperTrapps because for all our sakes,... i would say you need a "closed" end cap.

Hey 06BLKPRL, sorry about the slight derailment...but, it does keep it on top.

I just noticed the set of Supertrapps on my bike have loose baffles when cold. Thump and they rattle. Once it warms up no thump and rattle. Funny you hear no sound when bike is running. I would not sweat the "loose baffle" thing at all. Easy fix. You can also remove the inside and locate where it makes contact and "stiple" or dimple with a center punch a few times on the baffle itself. Perhaps core is the correct term?

These mufflers are known to be one of the better all around performing ones and sound pretty good too. Plus with the removable end caps many different looks are available.
