Feeler... 95-13 DIY hard saddlebag liners for sale
Before I switched my standard bags for stretched ones, I had a little project going on to do my own liners. I finished them up and - while at it - decided to make templates of the liners.
I am just testing the waters if anyone would be interested in buying them...
What you would get is:
- full set of liners (black poly fabric; like "car carpet") - pre-"drilled" for screws and pins including bottom liner
- 2 pre-cut bottom inserts (hardboard)
- instructions with some pics I took
- shipping CONUS included
the liners will have 2 seams on the inside corners of the bags (meaning bike side). after install you can barely see the seams (if you take your time installing and cutting the seams).
no lid liners! IMO lining the lid will not look good enough (aka like crap)
due to the fact all bags are slightly different - size variation - I opt out to make it a 1 seam only side liner. I also believe it would make it harder to install as you will need to glue them in with spray adhesive.
I am still looking for some final prices for materials but roughly looking at 40 shipped (paypal - includes the PP fee).
the only thing you need to get is glue (HD,lows, WMart got them - run about 8 bucks or so) and some plastic and tape and a utility knife. bottom inserts will most likely be sanded a bit to fit you bags.
any interest out there?
Also, next project I will be doing my stretched bags (I got 4.5 Baddads), but this might take several weeks.

some pictures, forgot to take picture of 1 part of the liner, sorry. do not have a set ready to take another picture. also some pics from during install and completed install.
so, again - complete set (6 parts liners and 2 bottom hardboard "floors") including printed set of instructions (with pictures - still to write up).
install should not take more than 1 hour total for 2 bags (start to finish).
pictures show grayish color due to sun/flash. it will be black.
