I tried 3 different bags over the years before I settled on this one, its the best, magnetic latching, holds shape, can disconnect the two side bags if you have GPS or other items mounted up there. Have had it for 18 months or so.

Nah in no rush, pretty firm on the price.

 

I just had my inner fairing painted. I would like to add one of these but I am concerned it will rub through the paint. Does it rest on or touch the inner fairing anywhere? Does it move around much with the vibration?

Had it on my painted inner, ran 777 cams which makes the motor jump quite a bit, no rub marks when I took it off. You could put some thin film on the top of the fairing under the bags if it worries you. It cn be adjusted up when you tighten the sheild.
