Yep - the lowers are different.

Different style of adjustable vent - and I hope for all those that get them that it's better than the '06-'13 style of vent that breaks and rattles (replaced twice on my '06 - then removed until I can figure out how to stop the slot used for the top to not break).

Look similar to those with the radiators because they put a black plastic 'plug' where the rads would be.

I don't know how good these pics will help decide if the vent is better, but they are the best pics I can get of the vents.

Those new style lowers look pretty sweet on the SG. Notice any difference in air flow from previous years?? Or don't you have anything to compare to.

I do not have anything to compare them to as far as wind reduction, but I rode with them about 3 miles since the temps were in the lower 40s and I left one vent open and one closed and you can definately tell the dfifference there. My bike is the first fairing bike I have ever rode, so I can tell you it is a hell of a lot different than the 1200 sportster I had and the Wide Glide I had!!!!

I was thinking black lowers on my Daytona blue SG to bring out the black highlights in the paint... but those look great! so now I can't decide.
