As far as I know, a 2006 glide has a 1" axle(25.4mm) , in 2008, the touring axle switched to 25mm. You would need to take the bearings out of these wheels and put in bearings for a 2006 OR run an axle from a 2008 bike! I do have an axle from a 2008 if u are interested in the wheels.

Second issue is the rotors on these wheels are 11.8inch....your bike ran 11.5 inch rotors.
you can either run your stock rotors.......have a machine shop turn these rotors down to 11.5 for a few bucks....purchase 2 matching 11.5" rotors for these wheels.....ORRRRRRRR swap your brake calipers and master cylinder out to a used brembo set from a 2008 up bike!!!

It Won't affect the brake efficiency to have them turned down to from 11.8 to 11.5 is that the outer diameter of the rotor that has to be turned down. I really like the wheels but don't want to run into any difficult complications.

the outside edge would need to be turned down .3. it should not affect the braking at all if done correctly....the rotor face should not be touched so shouldnt affect the braking surface at all. had a friend that had this done to a set of rotors, but he is away for awhile so not sure where he had it done. just noticed u are in puerto rico though...not sure how much it would cost to have these shipped to you!!

What size are the tires? The rear rim is wider....I know rc comp sells spacers and offset hub to take a 180 tire on a 06-08 SG, PM may do the same I have rear PM w a 160 tire.

I don't think it's wise to attempt to turn down rotors...not good idea!....only option would be to take axle from seller and buy chrome or black lower legs w the brembo brake caliper spacing and install thus running the 2008 axle, rotors, fork legs and brembo calipers...major upgrade for minor cost.

where you located White Gold
