Got a very nice set of wheels from my 2012 Limited for sale. These are the Contrast Chrome "Knuckles".
Also includes Tires with a bunch of tread left, ABS Bearings, and Front Rotors (no rear).
Front wheel is part # 42195-10 and retails for $549.95
Rear wheel is part # 42196-10 and retails for $549.95
Tires are OEM Harley, front is a D408F, size 130 80B 17
rear is a D407, size 180 65B 16
I measured with a Milton tread depth gauge and both tires have a good solid 3MM before reaching the wear indicators. I'm guessing 4-5 thousand miles left. Tires have 11,400 miles on them now.
Wheels look great, got them all washed up and they shine like new. Note, if you look real close, you can see some very fine scratches or "swirl marks" in the chrome. You have to look real close to see them, but they're there. Honestly, I never noticed them until I went to list them for sale and examined them so closely. Not sure if they've always been there, or it they're from cleaning them over the years. I always use a microfiber cloth, so don't think they're from cleaning but not sure. Might be able to polish them out??
Like I said, to me they look great, but want to be totally honest. I would give them a solid 9.7 out of 10.
