Default Rider backrest & mounting kit '88-'08
This is the backrest and mounting kit fits '88-'08. I think it is a CVO backrest, the insert looks like ostrich but it is all black. I will add pics later.

Is this the adjustable unit with the adjustable lever that mounts on the side of the frame or is it the standard version?

It is the standard one. It is adjustable up an down only.
