Long story but I've got carpal tunnel and tendinitis in my hands from yrs in computer business using keyboards and prior hand injuries. These were a little to thick diameter for my liking. If my hands been a little larger been great. The rubber on these grips is very similar in feel to Renthal rubber so I liked that and grips looked great on bike.
